TRABAJAR EN CASA CON PROYECTOS DE INGLES

SUGERENCIAS DE ESTRATEGIAS PARA TRABAJAR EN CASA CON PROYECTOS DE INGLES
     
  Se sugiere que los docentes de la asignatura de inglés en secundaria elaboren un plan de actividades con diversos topicos relacionados 
 con los bloques que esten manejando de los tres grados de secundaria.

Projects have three main stages

         The planning stage.
          The implementation stage.
          The creation of the end-product.


Characteristics of a language projects

               Language projects are a series of activities aimed at solving a problem or at creating an end–product.
         Reflect a real life situation.
         Not to be taught, but to be made.
         Student–centred and driven by the need to create an end–product.
         The end-product is used for social purposes.


         Design an ID.
         Write how do you feel in your English class.
         How to create a Photo Book.
         Assembling a pictionary.
         Create a gossip book.


         Examples of language projects for second  grade
first bimonthly


         Visiting our zoo Brochure.
         Students’ pets. End product: album + “advice” on how to take care of pets.
         Designing a campaign to protect animals in danger of extinction.
         campaign (advertisement, brochure, article, poster).
         Visiting a farm. End product: oral description of animals, short paragraph about animals, video.
         Create a Super Hero.
         Promoting good eating habits.     
         Produce a booklet in order to make schoolmates aware that eating habits have effects on health.
         Create a gallery of famous people.
         Design a magazine  for health and the body. 
         Create a a brochure about health risks due to Anorexia and Bulimia.
     
         Examples of language projects for third grade
   
         Editing a school newspaper/magazine in past tense.
         Write an interview someone that can tell you what life was in your country 30 years ago.
         Creating an anthology of poems.
         Writing and performing a theatre play.
         Making a book of tales.
         A collection of ss biographies.
         Write the rules for a new club.
         What to do in an emergency. (Earthquake, hurricanes, fire, floods, etc.
         Make a poster advertising the new club.
